Latexx Manufacturing Wins Perak Glovemakers' Sustainabilty Award
Our manufacturing site in Malaysia has recently won the inaugural Glovemaker's Sustainability Award in Perak, a Malaysian state where amongst Latexx Manufacturing a significant number of major glove manufacturers are based.
Philip Mok, Managing Director & Director Operations Sempermed, and his team were invited by the Chief Minister of Perak, YAB Dato' Seri Saarani bin Mohamad to the award ceremony on Saturday, 29th October in Ipoh, Perak's capital city.
Sempermed is very honoured to receive this recognition as it proves our steadfast commitment to sustainability in glove manufacturing.
An extensive selection process
A panel of high-ranking representatives from the Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association (MARGMA), DSH and the Department of Environment conducted a thorough paper audit as well as a detailed site investigation. Latexx Manufacturing managed to emerge victorious after these two rounds of auditing and chosen as the overall winner of Perak’s first-ever glovemakers’ sustainability award.
With environmental management and compliance being in focus, the panel was thoroughly convinced by Sempermed’s transparent and stringent processes as well as consistent performance.
