With this, the Semperit Group joins the top 5% of evaluated companies, which is a great achievement.

About the EcoVadis Rating

EcoVadis is a provider of business sustainability ratings, intelligence and collaborative performance improvement tools for global supply chains. Their assessment covers a wide range of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) issues, which are grouped into four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, Sustainable Procurement. The selected CSR issues are based on several international CSR standards such as the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, the International Labor Organization conventions and the Global Reporting Initiative's standards. Furthermore, the subjects covered in each assessment are based on the context of each company, such as the particular industry it is in, the company's size, and the audited site's location.

The Gold Standard can only be reached if a company meets certain requirements set out by EcoVadis. In particular, a company needs to have a structured and proactive CSR approach that is based on policies and tangible actions with detailed implementation information as well as reporting on actions & performance indicators. Over 75,000 companies covering more than 200 sectors in 160 countries worldwide use EcoVadis to assess themselves and their supply chain.

Sustainability & CSR are our priorities

Semperit Wimpassing achieved a score higher than 66 out of 100, which places us in the top 5 percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis. The rating is further evidence that Semperit successfully prioritizes sustainability.
